Why UXM Telehealth

Not all prescription weight loss programs are created equal. Here’s what sets UXM apart:

Enhanced Formulation

Our compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide include added Vitamin B6, which standard compounding pharmacies don’t include. Vitamin B6 supports metabolic function, helps maintain energy levels during caloric restriction, and may reduce common GLP-1 side effects like nausea and fatigue. This enhancement sets us apart from typical telehealth weight loss providers.

Pharmaceutical-Grade Source Ingredients

We source pharmaceutical-grade semaglutide and tirzepatide exclusively from FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities that adhere to cGMP manufacturing standards – exceeding typical compounding pharmacy sources. Each dose is custom-compounded with added Vitamin B6.

Advanced GLP-1 Medications

We prescribe both semaglutide and tirzepatide—two clinically proven GLP-1 medications. Clinical trials have shown an average weight loss of 12-15% with semaglutide and 15-22% with tirzepatide, although individual results vary. Your provider will recommend the best option based on your health profile and treatment goals.

CLINICAL RESULTS

Clinical Trials Showed 12-22%
Average Weight Loss

Semaglutide and tirzepatide – the active ingredients in our formulations – demonstrated 12-22% average body weight loss in clinical trials when combined with diet and exercise. Individual results vary significantly.

Appropriate for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or BMI of 27 or higher with weight-related conditions like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.

PATIENT EXPERIENCE

I’ve lost about 20% of my body weight with tirzepatide, and the results have truly exceeded my expectations. I feel healthier, more confident, and more in control of my body and overall well-being.
– Lauren P., Utah, 33

“I lost a total of 53 pounds which was 23% of my body weight with this program, and I feel great. I have so much more energy and feel alot better about myself.”
– Michael H., Age 69, California

IMPORTANT: Individual results vary. This testimonial represents one person’s exceptional result and is not typical. Most patients lose less weight. Results depend on adherence to diet and exercise, starting weight, medical conditions, and individual response to medication.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

GETTING STARTED

Generally, you may qualify if you have a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with a weight-related health condition (such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol). Our licensed physicians review each case individually to determine medical appropriateness. Not everyone who applies will qualify – your safety is our priority.

Yes. All semaglutide and tirzepatide medications require a valid prescription from a licensed physician. Our board-certified doctors evaluate your health history and determine if prescription weight loss medication is appropriate for you. We cannot dispense medication without physician approval.

Most assessments are reviewed within 24 hours. If approved, your medication typically ships within 24-72 hours. The entire process from assessment to delivery usually takes 3-5 days.

If our physicians determine that prescription weight loss medication isn’t right for you at this time, you won’t be charged. We’ll provide guidance on alternative approaches and you can reapply in the future if your situation changes.

ABOUT THE MEDICATIONS

Both are GLP-1 medications that work by reducing appetite and slowing digestion. Tirzepatide is a newer dual-action medication (GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist) that clinical trials show delivers 15-22% average body weight loss compared to 12-15% with semaglutide. Your physician will help determine which medication is best for your goals.

Our medications contain the same active pharmaceutical ingredients (semaglutide or tirzepatide) as these brand-name drugs. However, they are custom-compounded by licensed U.S. pharmacies and enhanced with Vitamin B6 to help reduce side effects.

Important: These are compounded medications that are not FDA-approved. The active ingredients are sourced from FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities held to pharmaceutical manufacturing standards (cGMP), then custom-compounded by licensed pharmacies. Compounding is legal while the brand-name versions remain on the FDA shortage list.

Our compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide include added Vitamin B6, which standard compounding pharmacies don’t include. Vitamin B6 supports metabolic function, helps maintain energy levels during caloric restriction, and may reduce common GLP-1 side effects like nausea and fatigue.

We enhance our formulations with Vitamin B6 to support healthy metabolism, sustained energy levels, and help reduce common GLP-1 side effects like nausea and fatigue. This is a unique feature of our compounded medications.

Clinical trials show:

  • Semaglutide: Average 12-15% body weight loss over 68 weeks
  • Tirzepatide: Average 15-22.5% body weight loss over 72 weeks

Individual results vary based on starting weight, lifestyle factors, adherence to treatment, and metabolism. Not everyone achieves average results – some lose more, some lose less.

Common side effects include:

  • Nausea (usually mild and decreases over time)
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Decreased appetite

Serious side effects are rare but can include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, and thyroid tumors (in animal studies). Our physicians screen for risk factors and monitor you throughout treatment.

The Vitamin B6 in our formulations may help reduce nausea and fatigue for some patients.

Both semaglutide and tirzepatide are approved for type 2 diabetes management (under different brand names). However, you should discuss your current diabetes medications with our physicians during your assessment, as dosage adjustments may be necessary.

SAFETY & QUALITY

503B facilities are FDA-registered outsourcing facilities (not traditional compounding pharmacies) held to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards – the same rigorous requirements as major pharmaceutical manufacturers like Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly.

This represents a higher quality standard than typical 503A compounding pharmacies. 503B facilities undergo regular FDA inspections, maintain strict quality controls, and provide Certificates of Analysis documenting the purity and potency of their pharmaceutical-grade ingredients.

We source our semaglutide and tirzepatide exclusively from these FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities, ensuring you receive the highest quality active ingredients available in the compounding market. Each prescription is then custom-compounded by our licensed U.S. pharmacy partners with added Vitamin B6 to create our enhanced formulation.

Yes, when prepared properly, compounded medications can be safe and effective. We take multiple steps to ensure quality:

Pharmaceutical-Grade Source Ingredients: We source semaglutide and tirzepatide exclusively from FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities that follow cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards – the same rigorous requirements as major pharmaceutical manufacturers. These facilities conduct sterility testing, potency verification, and provide Certificates of Analysis.

Licensed Pharmacy Compounding: Each prescription is then custom-compounded by our licensed U.S. pharmacy partners who follow strict compounding protocols and state pharmacy regulations.

Important Disclosure: Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not undergone the same extensive clinical trials as brand-name drugs like Ozempic® or Mounjaro®. However, the active ingredients (semaglutide and tirzepatide) are the same molecules found in these FDA-approved medications.

All medications are compounded in FDA-registered facilities using pharmaceutical-grade ingredients and precision equipment. Each batch undergoes potency testing to verify accurate concentration. Our pharmacy provides a Certificate of Analysis confirming medication strength and purity.

Yes. The FDA allows licensed pharmacies to compound medications that are in shortage. As of November 21, 2025, both semaglutide and tirzepatide remain on the FDA drug shortage list, making compounding legal. We monitor the shortage list and will notify patients if this changes.

All prescriptions are issued by licensed physicians following state and federal telehealth regulations.

PRICING & BILLING

All-inclusive. No Hiden Fees.

One monthly price covers everything – medication, physician oversight, and home delivery.

This price includes:

  • Compounded medication

  • Injection supplies (needles, alcohol wipes, sharps container)

  • Licensed physician oversight and consultations

  • Shipping to your door

  • Ongoing medical support

No hidden fees. No insurance needed.

  • We don’t have brand-name marketing costs
  • Compounding pharmacies have lower overhead than manufacturers
  • We operate efficiently as a direct-to-consumer telehealth service
  • No insurance middlemen

No, we operate on a cash-pay basis. This allows us to offer transparent pricing and avoid insurance delays. You may submit receipts to your insurance for potential reimbursement (check your plan’s out-of-network pharmacy benefits), but we cannot guarantee coverage.

Some patients use HSA or FSA funds – check with your plan administrator.

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time through your patient portal or by contacting support. You’ll only be charged for the current month.

Dose adjustments are included in your monthly service at no additional cost. Message your physician through the patient portal to request a dosage change. We typically start at lower doses and gradually increase over 12-16 weeks.

TREATMENT PROCESS

Both semaglutide and tirzepatide are self-administered once weekly via subcutaneous injection (under the skin). Most patients inject in the abdomen or thigh.

Your first shipment includes:

  • Pre-measured medication vials
  • Insulin syringes for easy dosing
  • Alcohol prep pads
  • Sharps disposal container
  • Detailed injection instructions with photos/videos

Most patients find injections easier than expected – the needles are very small and the process takes less than 2 minutes.

Most patients notice:

  • Week 1-2: Reduced appetite and cravings
  • Week 4-8: First noticeable weight loss (3-5 lbs)
  • Month 3-6: Steady weight loss (1-2 lbs/week on average)
  • Month 6-12: Significant results (15-20% body weight loss)

Results vary. Some patients see faster results, others take longer. Consistency is key.

The medication significantly reduces appetite, making it easier to eat less. However, best results come from combining medication with:

  • Balanced, protein-rich diet
  • Regular physical activity (walking 30+ minutes daily)
  • Adequate sleep and stress management
  • Staying hydrated

We provide nutrition guidance and resources to support your success.

Many patients regain some weight after stopping GLP-1 medications. To maintain results:

  • Gradually reduce dosage rather than stopping abruptly
  • Continue healthy eating and exercise habits developed during treatment
  • Some patients stay on a maintenance dose long-term

Discuss your exit strategy with your physician when you’re ready.

Treatment duration varies by individual. Most patients take medication for:

  • 6-12 months to reach goal weight
  • Ongoing maintenance at lower doses to maintain weight loss

This is a medical decision you’ll make with your physician based on your progress and goals.

LOGISTICS & SHIPPING

All orders ship via expedited carrier in insulated packaging with ice packs to maintain proper temperature. Shipping is included in your monthly price.

You’ll receive tracking information when your order ships. Most deliveries arrive within 2-3 business days.

The medication remains stable for 24-48 hours in the insulated packaging. Retrieve your package as soon as possible and refrigerate immediately upon receipt.

If you’ll be traveling during your delivery window, contact us to adjust your shipping schedule.

Never throw loose needles in regular trash.
